Mapi Pharma is a clinical stage pharmaceutical company, developing proprietary pharmaceuticals, including life cycle management (LCM) products such as Depot long acting injections, complex active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and formulations. The company’s lead product is Glatiramer Acetate (GA, Copaxone^®) Depot, a once-monthly IM injection of 40mg GA for the treatment of multiple sclerosis (a $20 billion market). Mapi is engaged in the development of Pregabalin ER for the treatment of neuropathic pain and epilepsy, Paliperidone Palmitate and Buspirone ER for the treatment of schizophrenia and other long acting Depot injectable treatments.
