This was the first software application that we developed. A global online database of thousands of  companies, buyers and sellers of services within the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Medical Devices and Nutraceutical industries. The database is searchable with a range of fields and terms tailored towards these sectors. In addition to searching by a given sector such as contract research or manufacture,  equipment, distribution, logistics, it also has hundreds of service terms allowing accurate and close matching of your needs with resulting profiles.

Create Questionnaires and manage your supplier documentation

Easily build bespoke questionnaires and upload pre-made documents for your vendors and partners to complete and signoff. The assessment is one of the central tasks of successfully qualifying and auditing a new or exisiting supplier or partner. We have designed an application that matches closely the auditing requirements in todays highly regulated pharma markets. We have combined the best of the paper based systems taking them forward in combining them with digital advantages. So immediate deployments with suppliers and feedback, tracking activies and actions both for internal and regulatory inspections. Included in the application is also reporting, so you can report back to those audited companies giving reults and actions coming out of an audit or assessment.  This greatly cuts down on the time needed to qualify and manage suppliers and makes the process much more flexible to you can pivot more quickly should you requitre to alternative manufacture and supply.

Our document management application also supports you in quickly being able to exchange documents and seek either approval and/or an e-signature. Full tracking of acceptance and approval by a buyer or seller is reported to you through the software. Also any addtions or modifications is audited and recorded. When final approval is received you will receive an alert. This application can be used for exchanging quality documentation, confidentiality agrements, service level agreements  general terms and conditions and initial commercial agreements.

Request and  manage Quotations

An easy to use RFQ building feature that lets you create a request for quotation easily and quickly and then send to one of the companies within the directory. This can be used for raw materials, packaging, equipment or even services. If you choose to accept a quotation and proceed with supply, you can then use the other applications to manage the on-going business.

Manage Projects resulting from connections made in the directory

Once you have decided to go ahead with supply or an agreement with a company, project management is needed to manage the resulting business. We have designed an application for you to both internally or extenally manage activities and objectives asssociated with any business. This may initially consist of setting up an internal team drawn from different disciplines within your organisation. Once the team has been setup you can allocate tasks, track the completion of these tasks, set milestones for the project and notify members through alerts and reminders . Gant charts and calenders with tasks and milestones for a project are available. Our aim is to provide you with all the tools needed to successfully complete your supply project.

About Us

Surims Ltd is a consultancy established in 2003 supporting companies in the identification, qualification and management of quality vendors and suppliers in ingredients and formulations.

The Pharmaceutical Services Directory supports the identification and on-boarding of quality suppliers and also incorporates software features that manage relationships between suppliers and their customers. These include the building and deployment of questionnaires and assessments, electronic signatures and sign-offs and project management between vendor/partner and customer.
