Arcera Life Sciences and Daewoong Expand Strategic Partnership to Bring Enavogliflozin to the Middle East

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and Seoul, South Korea - June 29, 2026 - Arcera Life Sciences and Daewoong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. announced expansion of their strategic partnership for Enavogliflozin, a novel sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 (SGLT2) inhibitor, into key Middle Eastern markets.
The agreement builds upon successful collaboration established between Daewoong and M8 Pharmaceuticals for Latin America, which became part of Arcera following its December 2024 integration. The companies recently achieved approval of Enavogliflozin in Mexico.
The expansion reflects both companies commitment to increasing patient access to innovative therapies for type 2 diabetes and cardiometabolic conditions across emerging markets. Enavogliflozin is approved in South Korea for treating type 2 diabetes mellitus and demonstrates meaningful efficacy in glycemic control.
